Nafilia Sachedina, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
I have a profound respect for the therapeutic process. Everyone has a story, some parts painful, and others parts hopeful. I hope to draw on that hope with you, support you in moving through challenging times, and help you discover your existing resilience.
My name is Nafilia Sachedina and I am a Registered Social worker in good standing. I have over 15 years of practice providing mental health related services and carry a Master in Social Work from the University of Toronto.
I use a customized approach for each client, because each person is unique and deserves to be seen as such. I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental, and comfortable space for each client. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to take this first step.
Over the years, I became curious about my experiences and how they shaped me. I learned how to take up space in therapy and examined my experiences through the lens of understanding, compassion, and accountability. I have learned I always have a choice, even if it is a hard one. I want to help you discover your inner voice, tap into the part of you that can experience joy, and offer an alternative to suffering. There is wisdom on the other side of the pain, all you need to be is curious.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and authentic. Developing a positive therapeutic relationship where trust and honesty is at the forefront of our work is key. Together, we can ensure your needs are being met. We may even find ourselves sharing a laugh, celebrating a breakthrough moment, and embracing the present moment.
